The story behind
Simple, Clean was founded by Nicolas Lassen
I have always been extremely interested in health, longevity, routines, and habits – and in how we can live a healthier, longer, and better life.
When I was involved in building a longevity startup and worked closely with international researchers, I first became aware of the potential impact our daily exposure to chemical substances can have. Certain ingredients can affect our hormone system, and the long-term effects are still not fully understood. However, we now know enough to make a more conscious choice about what we put on our bodies every day.
This was the beginning of Simple, Clean. A brand built around personal care with transparent ingredients, mild formulations, and a conscious exclusion of parabens and phthalates.

Why focus on parabens and phthalates?+
Because they are often discussed in connection with endocrine disruptors, and because many people want to minimize unnecessary exposure in products used close to the body every day.
Why does Simple, Clean mention perfume and fragrance?+
“Parfum” or “fragrance” is considered a trade secret, and manufacturers can therefore hide thousands of different ingredients under this designation. For us, "fragrance" and "parfum" consist of natural essential oils, and our products are COSMOS Natural and COSMOS Organic certified.
What products are available in the range?+
The range consists of shampoo and body wash. We wish to add both deodorant and sunscreen very soon.
